May 20, 2014: Bloodmobile @ Langara!!

May 20, 2014 in Previous Events in Vancouver by Cindy Leung

OtherHalf partnered with Canadian Blood Services’ Bloodmobile for the first time to provide students from Langara College in British Columbia one great opportunity to ‘save a life’! A few enthusiastic students from Langara’s ‘Love Your Neighbour’ club joined OtherHalf for the first time, and help their fellow schoolmates navigate their way through the process to become a stem cell donor registrant. It is also the first time for Judy Lam, a past patient who received her stem cell transplant a year ago to volunteer with us. That’s so much for the many “first times” just to kick off this summer! We need your continued support to keep all these up for more lives to be saved!

Date: May 20, 2014 (Tuesday)
Time: 11am – 3pm
Place: Langara College
100 W49th Avenue, Vancouver
